A long, but amazing day, sponsored by the Mara Group. We started in Mbale, recording The Elgon Ngoma Troupe, The Elgon Hero Brass band and Eridate Makwiri. We then travelled to record the Muwewesi Xylophone Group before racing back to Jinja.
We recorded two very dramatic groups in Budaka and then headed off to Mbale.
We travelled 110 km’s to Kidinda to record two wonderful groups: the Kidinda Cultural Group, with their wonderful Amadinda and the Kika Boys Cultural Troupe, with their wonderful lead singer Passy .Nassonko
The teams from Ketebul Music and Abubilla Music Foundation meet at the Airport Guesthouse Hotel and prepare for their musical exploration of central Uganda

We wrap up with a long file sharing session – then the final Abublla Music gang heads to the airport for a flight to London while the Ketebul team returns to their homes and apartments for a well deserved rest!
