We are very pleased to report that Singing Wells will have a small presence at this wonderful celebration event.
We received a lovely email from our friends at the Organisation for Batwa Development in Uganda (UOBDU) this week. Just to re-cap, we visited Kisoro in southern Uganda in November 2011 to record the music and dance of the Batwa people.
Winyo is one of the talented young musicians from Ketebul Music and he has also worked on three of the Singing Wells field trips. He has been shortlisted as one of four finalists for the Rolex Mentor & Protege Arts Initiative, an international programme designed to help talented emerging musicians reach their full potential.

Kathy Allen, trustee to the Abubilla Music Foundation, travelled with the Singing Wells team in March 2012 on the trip to record the music of the Kalenjin. Here’s her report from the trip.
